AI Module terms

These terms apply when you buy the self-paced AI Module. They sit alongside our general terms and conditions; where the two differ for the AI Module, these terms apply. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Last updated 23 October 2026

1. Who we are

The AI Module is provided by Wartens Ltd, trading as EDWartens UK, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15262249), registered office 8 Lyon Road, Milton Keynes MK1 1EX. VAT number GB 473020522. Contact us at info@wartens.com or +44 333 33 98 394.

2. What you buy

A self-paced online course in the EDWartens UK student portal, with no live classes. It includes 83 recorded lessons in 8 phases, each with notes and a practice quiz; a gate test at the end of each phase and a final assessment; 5 industrial projects graded by an EDWartens engineer; career sessions you book yourself (a CV review, a mock technical interview and a mock HR interview); and questions to a trainer from any lesson.

Lesson videos stream from their creators' YouTube channels. The study plan, notes, quizzes, tests, projects and grading are ours. If a video is removed, we replace it with one that teaches the same thing.

3. Access

  • Your access lasts 12 months from the day you pay, whether you paid in full or a deposit.
  • If you pay the deposit, Phases 0 and 1 open straight away and the rest of the course opens when the balance is paid. The deposit is not refundable once you have opened a lesson in Phases 0 or 1, because your right to cancel ends then (section 5).
  • Your account is for you alone. Sharing your sign-in, or copying course material for others, may lead to your access being suspended.
  • When access ends you can still see your results and download any certificate you have earned.

4. Price and payment

The AI Module costs £2,240 plus VAT, £2,688 in total. You can pay in full, or pay a £100 deposit and the balance later from your portal. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see your card details. The certificate is issued only when the full fee is paid.

5. Your right to cancel

As a consumer you can cancel within 14 days from the day we confirm your booking by email, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Because the lessons are digital content that opens as soon as you pay, at checkout you ask us to give you access straight away and acknowledge what that means for this right:

  • If you cancel within 14 days and have not opened any lesson, we refund everything you have paid.
  • Once you have opened a lesson, your right to cancel the digital content ends, as you agreed at checkout.
  • To cancel, use Services in your portal, email info@wartens.com, or use the model form on our cancellations and refunds page. We refund within 14 days of your request, to the card you paid with.

After the 14 days we do not normally refund, but this does not affect your rights if the course is not as described or we fail to provide what is included (section 11).

6. Extensions

If you need longer than 12 months, ask from Services in your portal. We tell you the options and the price before you pay anything. An extension runs on from the day your access would otherwise end, or from the day you pay if it has already ended.

7. Tests and projects

  • Each phase's gate test opens when you have completed that phase's lessons and passed the previous test. Limits on attempts and waiting times are shown on each test.
  • Projects are graded against a published rubric within seven days of submission. 60 out of 100 passes; below that we tell you what to change and you can resubmit.
  • Your work must be your own. Work copied from someone else, or produced with AI tools without your own understanding of it, may be failed.

8. The certificate

When you have passed every gate test, the final assessment and all 5 projects, and the fee is paid, we issue a certificate of completion from Wartens Ltd with a number and a QR code that links to its verification page. It is not a regulated or accredited qualification and it does not carry academic credit.

9. Career sessions

The CV review opens after you pass the Phase 2 test; the mock technical and HR interviews open after you pass the final. They help you prepare for applications. We do not promise a job, an interview or any level of pay.

10. Changes to the course

We keep the course up to date, so lessons, videos and tools may change during your access. We will not reduce what is included in section 2. If a change would make a real difference to you, we tell you first, and you may cancel for a refund for the access you have not used.

11. If something goes wrong

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the digital content must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, and our services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. If they are not, tell us through our complaints procedure and we will put it right, or refund you where the law says we should.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
