1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website edwartens.co.uk and all training services, products, and content provided by EDWartens UK, the trading name of Wartens Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website or enrolling in any of our courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. About Us

EDWartens UK is the trading name of Wartens Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (CRN: 15262249, VAT: 473020522, D-U-N-S®: 231167762). Our registered office is at 8, Lyon Road, Milton Keynes, MK1 1EX. We provide CPD Accredited industrial automation and engineering training programmes, including classroom-based and online courses.

3. Eligibility

Our training services are available to individuals aged 18 or older. By enrolling, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that the information you provide during registration is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Course Enrolment and Fees

Course enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment or an agreed deposit. Course fees are listed on our website and are payable in GBP. We accept payment by debit card, credit card, and bank transfer via our payment processor Stripe. All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change course fees at any time. However, any fee changes will not affect enrolments already confirmed and paid for. Where instalment plans are offered, the full balance must be paid before the course start date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund minus a £50 administration fee. Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the course start date are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course start date are not eligible for a refund. No-shows on the course start date are not eligible for a refund. If we cancel a course for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date at no extra cost. We reserve the right to reschedule courses with at least 7 days notice due to instructor availability, minimum class size requirements, or circumstances beyond our control. Refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.

6. Course Delivery

We endeavour to deliver all courses as described on our website. However, we reserve the right to modify course content, schedules, instructors, and delivery methods to improve the learning experience or address operational requirements. Classroom courses are delivered at our Milton Keynes facility. Online courses are delivered via live video conferencing with remote lab access. We make every effort to ensure that course materials are accurate and up to date. However, given the rapidly evolving nature of industrial automation technology, we cannot guarantee that all content reflects the very latest developments at any given time.

7. Certificates and Accreditation

Upon successful completion of a course and any associated assessments, you will receive a CPD Accredited certificate from EDWartens. Certificates are issued digitally and can be verified through our online verification portal. The certificate confirms completion of the specified course and the CPD points awarded. Certificates are non-transferable. We reserve the right to revoke a certificate if we discover that it was obtained through fraud, misrepresentation, or academic dishonesty.
